This makes the victim difficult to notice the shoulder surfer who loitering around. Also, it is difficult for the CCTV to spot the shoulder surfer as there are a lot of people nearby. Therefore, ATM user should be alert when performing ATM transaction in the crowded area. Meanwhile, the authority should also exercise extra precautions such as added patrolling around ATM area.
